Is It Safe To Ignore Unknown Device With No Driver?

    not gonna lie this is driving me nuts after a fresh install on my desktop, Device Manager shows a Unknown device with a yellow mark. Everything seems to work, but i hate leaving unknown devices around. Does MSI K9A2 CF Bios include teh driver for this?? How do i find out what this device actually is before installing random packages? Id rather not use driver updater tools if i can avoid it. any ideas??

    oof common mappings: SM Bus Controller usually needs the chipset package; PCI Simple Communications Controller is often teh Management Engine itnerface; Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller often relates to thermal or platform drivers. lmk how it goes

    The Microsoft Update Catalog can search by hardware ID and often has the matching driver package.
