REQUEST: DRIVER FOR PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER ON MY DESKTOP
Accepted solution
Jump to the replyoof common mappings: SM Bus Controller usually needs the chipset package; PCI Simple Communications Controller is often the Management Engine interface; Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller often relates to thermal or platform drivers.
hmmm whats teh hardware ID of the PCI Simple Communications Controller? ?
the hardware ID starts with a vendor ID that matches ASRock.
been there man the Microsoft Update Catalog can search by hardware ID and often has the matching driver package. hope that helps :)
Download drivers from the PC or motherboard maker's support page for your exact model. Their package lists usually include chipset, ME, serial IO and platform drivers.
@daemon_bench omggg turns out 880GMH/USB3 Bios did include it, I just needed to reboot after the install. Thanks! cant believe it was that simple lol
