not gonna lie this is driving me nuts since teh Realtek HD ALC 880 Audio CODECs R2.70 update, audio on my PC crackles and pops, mostly on voice calls. Its like someone is crumpling paper next to teh microphone, except its in my studio monitors :/ Sometimes the sound briefly turns robotic and then recovers. I got this message once while poking around:

The requested operation was unsuccessful.
Ive tried another cable, a different USB port, and even another set of studio monitors. Same crackle. Before the update everything was clean. Is it teh driver, or is smth else on the system starving the audio? pls help 🙏
