timeline: Creative P17 Audio Driver update from Gigabyte, then crackles teh same day, i tried changing the sample rate in Sound settings and disabling enhancements, which helped a bit but didnt fix it... id like to understand whats going on instead of flipping random switches... what tools can show whats interfering??

  3. if LatencyMon points to the GPU driver, try a clean GPU driver install with DDU. bad GPU driver DPCs commonly show up as audio crackle. worked for me anyway 🤷

  5. nah tbh I'd test without the vendor control software installed at all 👍 some audio suites add processing that crackles under load. just my 2 cents
