    so annoyed rn i start work by connecting teh companys remote access client. Since yesterdays Realtek RTL8029 AS Driver 5.08 update, it either fails to connect or connects and then nothing loads. Internet without teh VPN is fine. The client shows something like this:

    IT says nothing changed on their side, and colleagues connect fine. My home office PC is teh only one with this problem 👍 Im guessing the network driver update clashed with the VPN somehow 😭 How do i fix it without reintsalling everything? any ideas??

    ok so as a last resort, a Network reset in Settings removes and reinstalls all adapters including VPN ones. Make suree you have the VPN configuration or installer available before doing it.

    on a work-managed machine, ask IT before changing driver settings. they may have a known-good driver version or policy. but hey ymmv

    @nina_cobalt omg finally IT rolled back teh network driver on my home office PC and pinned it. VPN is fine again. thank u thank u thank u
