hmmm try opening preferences with printui /e /n "Printer Name" from a terminal. If it opens there but not in photo editor, the issue is teh app's print dialog, not the driver.

  1. guys pls help i need to change paper size for a print job, sooo i click Printer Properties in the browser. and then... nothing. or the app freezes for a minute and shows this:

This app can't run on your PC

To find a version for your PC, check with the
    software publisher.

it started after the Lexmark P4330 Driver 1.0.4.0 update... printing with default settings works, but I cant change anytihng... opening Printing Preferences from Settings also fails... is the drivers settings window broken, or is something else blocking it?

15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again

  2. yeahhh driver settings windows are often separate components installed with the full package 馃憤 reinstall the full package from the printer makers support page, or try the basic drievr if the full one is broken. fingers crossed 馃

  3. check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application for crashes when you click Properties... the faulting module often names teh driver UI DLL or an extension. hope that helps :)
