printer software bloat: whats actually useful?

ok weird one I've always installed the full package for printers without thinking 🙏 This time, for a home inkjet, I'd like to be more selective. I need scan to email. What's actually useful in these suites, and what can safely be skipped? I'd love a short list of what's worth keeping and what's safe to skip. Practical experience beats marketing pages every time.
