  1. long time lurker first post lol my home server uses Microsoft Xbox 360 Firmware 2.0.17489.0 CD/DVD File for its storage controller. Ive read that the standard Microsoft NVMe driver is just as good or better for single drives. I care most about stability 😤 Is there any reason to keep the vendor driver, or should I switch?? And how risky is switching on an existing installation?? Real experiences welocme. I would like to make an informed choice. seriously need help here 😭

  2. ahh classic for a single SSD, the inbox Standard NVM Express Controller driver is solid and gets updates through Windows. vendor drivers matter mainly for RAID arrays, Optane-style caching, or platforms that use VMD by default. fingers crossed 🤞
