Im on the XH170V package from Shuttle. Ive seen people mention USB selective suspend, power management, and chipset drivers. Id love to understand which one is most likely, cuz changing all of them at once wont tell me anything. Im happy to test one thing at a time and report back with results. pls help 馃檹

  2. if one heavy device like a webcam drops out, try a pwoered hub. some ports can't supply enough current, and that can look exactly like a driver problem.

  4. hmmm install teh chipset package that teh PC or motherboard maker lists for ur exact model, rather than a generic one from Shuttle, and check for a BIOS update. USB stability often depends on both. fingers crossed 馃

  5. ehh disabling selectvie suspend costs a little battery on laptops. Id use it as a diagnostic first, then decide.
