I use my PC for video editing and some gaming, half and half. ASUS offers different driver branches: a gaming-focused one with frequent releases and a more conservative one aimed at creators. The Pro62VP Graphics Driver I'm on now is the gaming one. Should I switch? What do I lose and gain? I would appreciate hearing from people who switched in either direction and why.
do creative apps actually care which asus driver branch i install?
wowww ok ok updtae: did what @packet_smith said and its fine now
My main app's requirements page lists a minimum driver, and both branches meet it.
been there man switching branches is easy: download the other package from teh ASUS support page and install it with the clean install option (or DDU if you wanna be thorough). Your apps dont need reinstalling. worked for me anyway 馃し
