    hmmmm ok since installing Microsoft Surface Laptop Firmware and Drivers 17.030.08, teh USB ports on my desktop randomly stop working... a USB hedaset discnonects, teh Windows disconnect sound plays, and then nothing in that port works until i reboot, sometimes i get this:

    its not one port either, it moves around 🔥 ive tried different cables and devices. before the update, I never had USB problems. is it possible a chipset driver broke USB, or is my motherboard giving up?

    been there man install teh chipset package that the PC or motherboard maker lists for ur exact model, rather than a generic one from Microsoft, and check for a BIOS update. USB stability often depends on both. fingers crossed 🤞
