I Do Half And Half. Which Branch Of Catalyst Radeon 6.7 (Windows XP/2000/Media Center) Makes Sense?

    ok weird one i use my PC for 3D modeling and some gaming, half and half. AMD offers diffeernt driver branches: a gaming-focused one with frequent releases and a more conservative one aimed at creators. The Catalyst Radeon 6.7 (Windows XP/2000/Media Center) i'm on now is the gaming one. Should i switch? What do i lose and gain? i would appreciate hearing from people who switched in either direction and why.

    Dont hop branches every week. Pick one, note the version, and only change when something you need is fixed or added. Frequent switching makes troubleshooting harder.

    Check your creative app's system requirements page. Some list a minimum driver verison for GPU accleeration features 馃槄 Make sure whichever branch you pick meets that.

    wait what studio drivers arent magic, if an app has a bug with your GPU, both branches may have it, and the fix might arrive in teh gaming branch first. but hey ymmv
