so annoyed rn i use my PC for 3D modeling and some gaming, work only. AMD offers different driver branches: a gaming-focused one with frequent releases and a more conservative one aimed at creators. the Compaq ATI Radeon Mobility Radeon 9000/Mobility FireGL 9000 Driver (Windows 2000/XP) Im on now is the gaming one. should I switch?? what do I lose and gain? I would appreciate hearing from ppl who switched in either diretcion and why. pls help 馃檹
IS THE "STABLE" AMD BRANCH REALLY MORE STABLE, OR JUST SLOWER? 馃

Check your creative apps system requirements page. Some list a minimum driver version for GPU acceleration features. Make sure whichever branch you pick meets that.
hmm idk studio drivers arent magic. if an app has a bug with your GPU, both branches may have it, and the fix might arrive in the gaming branch first.

@subnetprobe WOWWW staying on the gaming branch since Ive had no problems, but now I know switching is easy if I ever need to.. lol thanks! thank u thank u thank u
