  1. help!! my setup is three monitors on one card, and its been rock solid... since installing NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 425.31, one of the screens randomly blinks black for a split second... sometiems its every few minutes, sometimes every few seconds.

    gpu artifacts

Its worst when a video is playing on one screen and Im working on the other. Different cable, same result. Its honestly giving me a headache. Is this a known thing with multi-monitor setups after driver updates?? im about to throw this thing out the window lol

  2. ok but do windows move to the main screen when it flickers (a real disconnect), or just blink?? ??

  3. sometimes windows jump over, sometimes its just a blink... its three monitors on one card, in case that matters.

  4. oh ive been there lol if youre on a USB-C dock, update the dock firmware and the NVIDIA driver both from their support pages. docks rely on DisplayPort alt mode and are very sensitive to driver changes. good luck man!

  5. been there man if teh windows jump to teh main screen, the monitor is actually disconnecting. That's link training, which can be cable quality, DisplayPort sleep or the dock. Try a certified cable and diasble the monitor's own deep sleep/auto input switching. lmk how it goes

  6. oof if none of that helps, roll back to teh previous driver to confirm. if the flicker disappears, reoprt it with your exact setup to teh NVIDIA feedback channel and stay on teh older driver for now.

  8. try turning off the firmware first, fixed it for me

  9. I wouldn't permanently cap the main monitor at 60 Hz just to fix this. Disabling VRR on the secondary is usually enough.
