    Hi everyone! Im a university student. Ive been reading this forum for weeks while googling problems, and today i finally made an account. Honest reason: an open world RPG started crashing to desktop after sixty hours of play without issues.

    I'm not very technical, but I'm willing to learn. Happy to be here, and if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'll owe you one.

    Welcome! Do you use any mods or ovelrays with a co-op shooter?

    hmmm welcome! Good first step: check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application for an Application Error entry at teh time of the crash. the faulting moudle name tells us a lot, like a graphics driver file or a game file.

    if u use overlays or mods, disable them all and test... overlays from Discord, recording software and RGB apps can all cause crashes, mods are the first suspect after a hundred hours if anything updated recently. worked for me anyway 🤷
