Plugged My Drawing Tablet Into The USB Hub And Windows Just Shrugged !!

    ok weird one quick question before I buy a new drawing tablet:

    that's what i see whenever i connect it through teh USB hub. i rebooted, uninstalled teh device in Device Manager, and tried again... same thing... is there anything else on teh software side worth trying first?? i don't mind digging into settings or drivers, i just don't want to spend money on a new drawing tablet if teh old one is perfectly fine... any checklist would be very welcome. thx in advance!!

    Does it fail on the rear motherboard ports too, or just the 3000?

    Descriptor Request Failed means the device didnt answer Windows properly during setup, so its usually power or signal, not drivers. Plug it directly into a rear motherboard port, not a hub or front panel, and try again. fingers crossed 馃

    been there man shut teh PC down completely, unplug the power cable for a minute, then boot. this clears the USB controller state and fixes a surprising number of these.
