  1. ok so our current hosting for a small WooCommerce store is fine but feels outdated, and a serverless platform keeps coming up in conversations... before I spend a month migrating, Id love to hear teh trade-offs from people whove lived with it, support quality, scaling, lock-in, backups, security updates. what should I be asking that Im not? any thouhgts or warnings are very welcome before I commit to anything. thx in advance!!

  3. ahh classic whatever you choose, test restores, not just backups. plenty of hosts advertise daily backups; far fewer customers have ever tried restoring one. do a restore to a staging site once and you'll know whether teh backup story is real.

The real cost of a VPS is your time. Updates, security patches, backups, monitoring, certificate renewals: all on you. If u enjoy it and have a checklist, great. If not, managed hosting pays for itself the first time something breaks at 2 a.m. worked for me anyway 🤷
