Accepted solution by Dario Yilmaz — old RGB, fan control and hardware monitoring tools often install outdated kernel drivers (for example ones based on WinRing0) lmao update…
  1. ok so my friends are waiting in the lobby and I literally cannot join, an online looter shooter wont get past the launcher, and I got this:

    USB Audio Device Properties

    USB Audio Device Properties
    Device status:
    This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    {Operation Failed}
    The requested operation was unsuccessful.

    It mentions a driver being incompatible with teh anti-cheat. i have never used a cheat in my life. i suspect an old RGB control utility, but i don't even know how to check. pls help before my squad replaces me.

    I already reinstalled the game, restarted twice and made suree Windows is up to date. My account is in good standing, no bans or warnings 😤 Its purely a launch problem on this PC.

  2. Run fltmc in an elevated terminal and driverquery /v to see loaded drivers 🤷 Anything from a tool u no longer use is a candidate to remove. fingers crossed 🤞

  3. repair teh anti-cheat service itself xD most games ship a setup tool in the install folder (look for an EasyAntiCheat or similar folder with a setup exceutable) that has a Repair Service option. hope that helps :)

  6. old RGB, fan control and hardware monitoring tools often install outdated kernel drivers (for example ones based on WinRing0) lmao update teh tool to its currnet version or uninstall it completely, then reboot. just closing teh app isnt enough cuz teh driver stays loaded.

  7. @daemonrider omg finally removed the two old drivers Windows Security listed and the anti-cheat starts fine now. bonus: Memory Integrity can be turned on again.
