  1. so annoyed rn im on a work call, my wireless earubds go silent, and i have to unplug and replug everything while ppl wait. again, this is what Device Manager showed afterwards:

It seems worse when i'm downloading large files. Is that a real pattern or am i imgaining it?? Today it happened twice in one meeting and i had to switch to teh laptop speakers, which was embarrassing. i'd realy like to understand what is actually causing this before tomorrow.

  2. Are you connected to Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz?

  3. lol same thing happened to me install the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers from your laptop or motherboard makers support page. Windows Update often provides a generic version that works but is less stable. worked for me anyway 🤷

  5. On desktops, the internal antenna is often a tiny wire or missing entirely. Make sure the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antennas are screwed onto the back of the motherboard.

  6. Device Manager > Bluetooth > your adapter > Power Management: untick 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. Do the same for the Wi-Fi adapter, since it's the same chip.

  13. ahh classic most built-in Bluetooth is on the same combo chip as Wi-Fi and shares the 2.4 GHz band... if youre on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, switch to 5 GHz. heavy downloads on 2.4 GHz can crowd out Bluetooth audio. hope that helps :)
