hmmmm not sure about that some will say reinstall, and honestly if u have a separate /home partition a reinstall is quick, but this specific panic is almost always fixable in a few commands. idk maybe im wrong lol
if the older kernel wont boot either, use your live USB and chroot: [code] adjust teh device names to match lsblk, then regenerate the initramfs inside teh chroot.
+1 same here
😭
Remove any GPU overclock and memory overclock. Device removed errors are very sensitive to VRAM instability. If you used a tuning tool, reset it to defaults and also check that no profile reapplies at startup.
holy cow ok update: did what @luckytinker said and its fine now have u tried turning it off and on again (im only half joking)
ahh classic bump, still happening with gpu for me
ok so lol this thread is gold
ok so reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets pls help 🙏
oh ive been there lol make a backup before u touch teh default config, learned that the hard way
👍

in Device Manager , check Sound, video and game controllers for the GPUs HD audio device.. 😅 also try View Show hidden devices ... if its there but disabeld, enable it.. lol if its missing entirely, use Action Scan for hardware changes .
finally got it working, thanks everyone
ahh classic reset any overclock or undervolt, especially memory clock. Artifacts that look like small colored blocks are often VRAM instability, and a driver update can cahnge memory behavior enough to tip a mraginal OC over. worked for…
