nah tbh i disagree with the RAM first advice for some courses :D If your work is heavily GPU bound, a dedicated GPU matters more than going from 16 to 32GB. just my 2 cents

yeahhh battery life matters more than benchmarks for students lmao You will sit in lecture halls with two outlets for two hundred people 🙏 Look for reviews with real battery tests, not the manufacturer's numbers. worked for me anyway 🤷

ahh classic tools like zoxide or autojump learn your freuqent directories so u can jump with partial names. Great upgrade. good luck man!

hmmm if the reidstributable is already installed, open Settings Apps Installed apps , find 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 2022 Redistributable', choose Modify and then Repair . Do it for both x64 and x86. lmk how it goes

been there man open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click teh empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint wont appear in teh modern Settings page. lmk how it goes
