on some setups the HDMI audio only appears when the projector is the active display at boot... test with only the projector connected once. worked for me anyway 🤷

  1. so annoyed rn since updating teh graphics driver my soundbar gets no audio over HDMI at all.

i tried another HDMI cable, another port, and restarting the soundbar. In Sound settings teh HDMI device doesnt even appear, and in Device Manager i dont see a high definition audio device for the GPU anymore. It worked yesterday on the old GeForce Graphics Drivers 267.85 Windows XP 64-bit. Help? i am starting to suspect the installer did something odd, cuz nothing else changed. The soundbar itself works fine with a game console on the next input.

15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again

  4. oh ive been there lol in Device Manager, check Sound, video and game controllers for the GPU's HD audio device. also try View > Show hidden devices. if it's there but disabled, enable it. if it's missing entirely, use Action > Scan for hardware changes.
