for me it was the default config.. 🤦 swapped it and boom, fixed worked for me anyway 🤷

make a backup before u touch the cable, learned that the hard way lmk how it goes

ehh before diving into technical fixes, check teh games community hub. sometimes a known crash at a specific point already has an official hotfix or workaronud. just my 2 cents

ahh classic if nothing works, install the full audio package from teh PC or motherboard makers support page, then reboot. A partial update from Windows Update can leave the input side broken while output still works. worked for me anyway 🤷

sorry forgot to say yes, the home built tower has integrated graphics plus a dedictaed GPU.
