oof many games save crash dumps or logs in their install folder or in Documents ;) Attaching those to a bug report helps developers find driver related problmes faster.
ehh clearing CMOS is fine, but Id try the official recovery process first. thats what its designed for.

@hquintero wowww ok installed teh pending Windows feature update, then StarForce TNT/GeForce/Quadro 56.63 (Windows 2000/XP) went on without a single complaint. the error was technically true, just unhelpful. owe u a beer 🍺
yes, the prebuilt desktop has integrated graphics plus a dedicated GPU.
@jonas heap omg finally decided to wait two weeks, then updated with the previous package ready just in case. H55H CM (V1.0) Graphics Driver 14.41.2.64.5189 has been fine so far. owe u a beer 🍺
