sorry forgot to say ran lspci k from the live USB: Wi Fi and GPU both had drivers loaded out of teh box.

on teh Advanced tab of teh same adapter, look for options like MIMO Power Save Mode , Roaming Aggressiveness or Power Saving Mode and set power saving to the maximum performance/disabled value as a test.
been there man check your Windows build with winver. Newer driver packages can require a minimum featrue update. If u're on an old build, intsall the pending feature update first and try again. worked for me anyway 🤷 somewhere an AI is…
