@abecker 3t0 works on paper, not in real life... make a backup before u touch the cache, learned that the hard way
ugh
for me it was the cable. swapped it and boom, fixed
ok this thread just saved my weekend
long time lurker first post lol spent my entire lunch break on driver and im still not done. make a backup before u touch the cache, laerned that the hard way
hmmm which version are you on? ??
ok so broadly: gaming branches ship faster with optimizations for new releases. studio/stable branches ship less often and focus on validation with creative apps... both run games and apps fine... the difference is cadnece and test focus,…
ok update: did what @tvos said and its fine now... told my boss it would take 10 minutes... its been half teh night thank u thank u thank u
keep a short log of what driver youre on and when u changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates) lol When something breaks later, youll know if the timing matches. lmk how it goes
ehh I'd test in a second PC if you can. It's the only test that really separates the card from everything else.
for me it was teh DNS. swapped it and boom, fixed
@jonas rusty did u ever fix it? ??
ahh classic if artifacts persist after DDU and an older driver, and even appear in BIOS, back up your data and look into warranty. dont keep stress testnig a card that shows artifacts in BIOS. hope that helps :)
dumb question but how do i even check the thermal paste
mods can we pin this thread. dumb question but how do i even check the update :)
