ARE THESE ARTIFACTS MY GPU DYING OR JUST MOBILITY CATALYST DISPLAY DRIVER 12.2 BEING WEIRD?

ahh classic do a proper clean install of teh previous driver: download it from the AMD support page, boot into Safe Mode, run DDU, reboot, then install. A plain rollback in Device Manager sometimes leaves the problematic profiels in place. fingers crossed 🤞

ehh I'd test in a second PC if you can. It's the only test that really separates the card from everything else.

@cron_forge omg finally sadly it was hardware. Artifacts showed in BIOS after a few days. Warranty claim is in... thx for helping me figure it out fast.
