oof if teh game controller draws a lot of power, a bus powered hub or a long cable can starve it. Try a powered hub or the shortest cable you own.
for me it was teh DNS. swapped it and boom, fixed
hmmm for a single SSD, AHCI vs RAID mode makes little practical speed difference. Switch only if you have a reason (like Linux compatibility). lmk how it goes my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure
