Whats teh correct, safe procedure to switch, and do i need to uninstall the RAID driver first? i have a backup of my documents, but Id really prefer to keep my installed programs and settings intact if possible. thx in advance!!

  3. hmmm for a single SSD, AHCI vs RAID mode makes little practical speed difference. Switch only if you have a reason (like Linux compatibility). lmk how it goes

  7. On laptops with Intel VMD/RST, check the PC maker's support page. Some models expect RST mode for features like power managemnet, and switching may affect battery life or sleep.
