@asht420 The card was fake. Got a proper card from a reputable store, formatted it in the original Switch, and it works perfectly.

does lsof +L1 list any large deleted files still held open?

help!! told my boss it would take 10 minutes. its been all weekend the real fix was the friends we made along the way

many desktop motherboards have BIOS Flashback / Q Flash Plus or a dual BIOS. these let you flash from a USB stick without a CPU or a working BIOS... check teh motherboard manual for the exact file name and port.

oh ive been there lol some printers support changing defaults through their web interface (enter teh printers IP in a browser). Thats a workaround to set 4K with upscaling while you fix teh driver. worked for me anyway 🤷

@lucky fox Installed the full package and the scanner appeared under Imaging devices. teh vendor scan app found it instantly. Contract scanned!
