been there man its usually safe to leave a non critical dveice without a driver, but chpiset related devices can affect power management and sleep. worth fixnig.
nah tbh i update on day one and have very few issues, most problems pepole report are leftovers from upgrading over old installs, not the driver itself. but hey ymmv
exact same thing happened to my old thinkpad last month fingers crossed 馃
I wouldn't force an INF that doesn't list ur hardware ID. Even if it installs, hybrid graphics switching can break.
been there man check your Windows build with winver, newer driver packages can require a minimum feature update... if youre on an old build, install the pending feature update first and try again. good luck man!
