oof install teh chipset package that teh PC or motherboard maker lists for ur exact model, rather than a generic one from vednor, and check for a BIOS update. USB stability often depends on both. good luck man!

check Power Options : a Windows updtae or driver installer can switch to Balanced or a battery saver profile... on laptops, also check the manufacturers performance mode app.
