power plan had switched to Balanced 🔥 no idea when that happened. hope thats enough info 😅
@maya subnet kq Lowered teh MTU in teh VPN client and everything loads again. The new driver changed smth about fragmentation. thank u thank u thank u

Some laptops use OEM customized drivers (common on hybrid graphics). In that case get teh dirver from the laptop makers support page, or use the gneeric NVIDIA package only if it explicitly lists mobile GPUs. good luck man!
