@rowan.larsen48 yesss the 4740 events pointed at the mail srever, which led us to the old phone. Removed the profile and no lockouts in two days.

@qsorensen 15 wowww ok used the motherboards flashback feature with the file on a USB stick. Booted on the first try afterwards. Thank you!

Sometimes the game itself has a broken controller update. Check the game's known issues before blaming the driver. just my 2 cents

oh ive been there lol if the vendor's controller software or driver was updated, try rolling it back or reinstalling the previous version from the support page. Some third party controllers need teh vendor driver to present as XInput.

yeah so in Safe Mode everything looks normal, but that uses the basic display driver anyway. hope thats enough info 😅
