oof open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint wont apepar in teh modern Settings page.

ahh classic if the HD audio dveice shows a yellow mark, uninstall it in Device Manager (tick delete the driver software if offered), then reinstlal teh GPU package with the audio component selected.
