  1. smths off... a competitive shooter feels sluggish since teh GeForce Hotfix Driver for Notebooks update and teh FPS counter agrees with me.

    Fatal error

    Fatal error

  9. yeahhh to measure properly, use a repeatable in-game benchmark or the same route, log frame times with a tool like PresentMon or CapFrameX, and copmare average and 1% lows on both drivers. One run each isnt enough.

my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure

  10. After a driver update, games often rebuild their shader cache, which causes stutter for the first sessions. Give it a couple of runs, or clear teh driver shader cache manually in teh control panel / %LocalAppData% cache folder and let it rebuild once. lmk how it goes

at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol

  12. oh ive been there lol check that the driver install didn't reset ur cotnrol panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V-Sync, frame caps). A clean install resets everything to defaults, which can feel like a performance change. good luck man!

  13. been there man first rule out the obvious: on laptops, check that teh game actually uses the dedicated GPU. Settings > System > Display > Graphics, add teh games .exe, set it to High performance. driver updates can reset per-app GPU preferences. fingers crossed 🤞
