lol same thing happened to me check that Bluetooth isnt disabled in BIOS/UEFI and that airplane mode isnt toggled by a hardware key. A BIOS update or reset can disable wireless devices.

ahh classic if a machine with 8 GB of RAM pays ur bills, the stable/studio branch is a sensible dfeault. games still run well on it; you just get new game optimizations a bit later.
after switching, Device Manager should show Standard SATA AHCI Controller or Standard NVM Express Controller ... the RST/RAID driver can stay installed; it just wont be used. u can remove it later via Apps or pnputil if you want.
