For text heavy work, pixel density matters more than size. A 27 inch 1440p or a 27 inch 4K makes text much sharper than 1080p at the same size, which helps with long days of reading code or spreadsheets. hope that helps :)

yeahhh for color work, look for factory calibration reports and sRGB coverage from indeepndent reviews. use the sRGB mode if the screen has a wide gamut, otherwise colors look oversaturated.

Which User= does the unit run as, and does that user have access to the working directory??

@ivana727 holy cow ended up keeping my old air cooler and spending teh money on a better GPU instead. thanks for talking me out of it.
