oof following, having teh same problem
ok so pretty sure it started after the last patch, it always happens when a cutsecne starts. idk what else to say tbh rgb adds +10 fps everyone knows that
run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth if the generic driver also fails. corrupted audio components in Windows itself can look like a driver problem.
exact same thing happened to my second monitor setup last month. spent 20 minutes on package and im still not done
@clopez what did u end up doing in teh end ?
wait is audio even worth bothering with or should i just leave it
👍
ok this thread just saved my weekend
@clopez did u ever fix it? ??
hmmmm
ahh classic keep a short log of what driver youre on and when u changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates). when something breaks later, youll know if teh timnig matches.
yeahhh +1 same here hope that helps :)
lol same thing happened to me my approach: make a restore point, download the previous driver package sooo it's ready, then try the new one... if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one... that makes updating a low risk…
