hmmmm not sure about that if it fails in every port on this PC but works elsewhere, Id suspect the USB controller driver or BIOS before teh device. just my 2 cents

ahh classic uninstall teh Unknown USB Device entry and the USB Root Hub its under, then Action Scan for hardware changes . Also update chipset/USB controller drivers and BIOS from the PC or motherboard mkaers support page. fingers crossed…
@tariq ember WOWWW power plan back to High performance and two sessions to rebuild shaders. Stutter is gone on ATI Graphics Driver 8.561.0.0. DNS. its always DNS
sorry forgot to say power plan had switched to Balanced. No idea when that happened.
