print sys.path at startup in the failing context. if u see a different site packages than teh one where pip put the package, you have your answer in one log line.

Stop using bare pip. use python m pip install fastapi with the exact interpreter that runs the app. That way the package lands in the same site packages that the interpreter searches.

oof some laptops use OEM customized drivers (common on hybrid graphics). In that case get teh driver from teh lpatop maekrs support page, or use the generic NVIDIA package only if it explicitly lists mobile GPUs. fingers crossed 🤞 15…

lol same thing happened to me check Event Viewer Microsoft Windows Kernel PnP Configuration for errors when u plug it in. it shows exactly which driver install failed.
