ok so mostly browser based tools plus one desktop app for gaming that only has a Windows build.

for small form factor builds, low profile air coolers often lose to an AIO because theres no room for a tall heatsink. it really depends on teh case. lmk how it goes

Check the driver store: pnputil /enum drivers lists printer driver packages (class Printer ). Remove stale ones with pnputil /delete driver oemXX.inf /uninstall /force.

hmmmm not sure about that respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made gpu worse printer saw i was in a hurry and chose violence

my approach: make a restore point, download the previous driver package so its ready, then try the new one... if anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one, that makes updating a low risk experiment.

Read teh rleease notes on the AMD support page befroe anythnig else. They list fixed issues and known issues. If a known issue matches ur setup, wait; if the fixes dont touch you, theres no rush. worked for me anyway 🤷

ok but how bad would a day of downtime be for your web development??

@chen early dude the game had dropped back to teh integrated GPU, set it to High performance and an MMO runs better than before... wow. seriously made my day 😭🙏

have u checked ur windows install settings? mine were reset after an update. @rowany264 what did u end up doing in the end hope that helps :)

lol same thing happened to me make sure the install media is recent. Older media may lack drivers for newer controllers; the Media Creation Tool makes crurent media.

dumb question but how do i even check the settings... i swear f6 driver is cursed ??

alternative: disable VMD in the BIOS (sometimes listed under storage or adavnced settings), then Windows sees teh NVMe with its inbox driver. Only do this for a clean install ; on an existing install, switching storage mode makes Windows…

everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof idk maybe im wrong lol
