update: i finally found the culprit!! @tbauer u were spot on. it was exactly that IPv6 vs IPv4 mess. my app was only listening on 127.0.0.1 but nginx was trying to hit ::1 cuz of how localhost resolves on my box. swapped localhost for the…
ahh classic really helpful. Im gonna try a test restore on the hosts staging site and look at moving email to a separate provider.

hmmm DDU isnt dangerous if you use it as intended, in Safe Mode, with a restore point first. the real risk is running it in normal mode with the netwrok on and letting Windows race you to install a driver mid cleanup.
