in Safe Mode everything looks nromal, but that uses the basic display driver anyway. sorry for the wall of text lol
check Device Manager View Show hidden devices and look for a greyed out wireless adapter or an Unknown device / Network Controller under Other devices . that tells you whether teh hardware is still detected.
