Battery life on handhelds depends a lot on the game. Lowering teh frame rate cap and TDP can extend it alot.

oof open the classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint won't appear in the modern Settings page. hope that helps :)
oof check the TV with a soundbar in between's input settings. some TVs and receivers renegotiate audio formats after a drvier change... power cycling teh TV with a soundbar in between with teh PC on, or changing the TV's HDMI audio mode…
ok so on some setups the HDMI audio only appears when the TV with a soundbar in between is teh active display at boot. Test with only the TV with a soundbar in between connected once. fingers crossed 🤞
