ok so before all that, create a retsore point: Checkpoint Computer Description "before DDU" in an admin PowerShell, or via System Protection. Cheap insurnace.
is the page goes completely blank present in Safe Mode too?
yeahhh check that the driver install didn't reset your control panel settings (power management mode, low latency mode, V Sync, frame caps). A clean install resets everything to defaults, which can feel like a performance change.
try turning off the cable first, fixed it for me
