ugh. reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets. for me it was teh power plan. swapped it and boom, fixed
oof try turning off teh extension first, fixed it for me
ok so if nothing works, install the full audio package from the PC or motherbaord makres support page, then reboot lol A partial update from Windows Update can leave teh input side broken while output still works. worked for me anyway 🤷
finally got it working, thanks everyone owe u a beer 🍺
bump. still happening with usb for me
i come back to this thread every week just for the drama. same issue here on my old thinkpad. glad im not the only one
for me it was teh update. swapped it and boom, fixed. following, having the same problem fingers crossed 🤞
been there man install teh chipset package that teh PC or motherboard maker lists for your exact model, rather than a generic one from Intel or AMD, and check for a BIOS update. USB stability often depends on both. hope that helps :)
ugh. told my boss it would take 10 minutes. its been all weekend pls help 🙏
hmmm dumb question but how do i even check the firmware ??
make a backup before u touch the cable, learned that the hard way
@gpark works on paper, not in real life. for me it was the update, swapped it and boom, fixed idk maybe im wrong lol
