yeahhh if its flapping, check Restart= and StartLimitIntervalSec=/StartLimitBurst=. After hitting teh limit, clear it with sudo systemctl reset failed worker.service once the cause is fixed. good luck man!
Switching branches is easy: download the other package from the AMD support page and install it with the clean install option (or DDU if you want to be thorough). Your apps don't need reinstalling. hope that helps :)
