studio vs game ready: which amd driver branch for streaming and gaming?

Mixed-use PC here: half and half. Can someone who has tried both branches share their expreience? Id love to hear whether it made a real difference for streaming and gaming or whether its mostly marketing. i am not chasing benchmark numbers. i mostly want fewer surprises and a driver that does not change every two weeks. If you switched branches, did you notice anything at all, positive or negative? And would u switch back? what am i doing wrong??
