Id move away from managing authorized keys by hand entirely and use SSH certificates or a cloud sessoin manager. fewer of these surprises. idk maybe im wrong lol

@zane ember omggg one PCIe power cable wasnt fully seated. Pushed it in until it clicked and the monitor came right up.

sorry forgot to say facepalm moment: after a BIOS update I plugged teh HDMI 2.1 cable into the motherboard port. sorry for the wall of text lol

ok so plan recovery before rollout: at least two registered methods per user, a verified identity process at the helpdesk, and tmeporary access passes instead of just disable MFA for a day. fingers crossed 🤞

the vendor's own touchpad driver can be good, but Precision drivers usually integrate better with Windows settings.
